Alternative Spring Break | Hollifield Station Elementary

Alternative Spring Break is an annual volunteer event hosted by Howard EcoWorks. It runs during Howard County Public School System's scheduled Spring Break, and offers a chance for students and adults to engage in public service. *This event is unique compared to our other Alternative Spring Break Locations: Patapsco Heritage Greenway will be leading tis event.

Join Patapsco Heritage Greenway for a tree maintenance activity at Hollifield Station Elementary School! Our trees at this site have reached their mature stage, so we will be removing the caging and water bags to allow these trees to grow fully independently. We will also have garden tools available to remove weeds. Help us prepare these beautiful trees for this summer growing season! This is a great opportunity to gain volunteer hours, experience with environmental stewardship, and help your local community.
