Alternative Spring Break | Green Farmacy Garden

Alternative Spring Break is an annual volunteer event hosted by Howard EcoWorks. It runs during Howard County Public School System's scheduled Spring Break, and offers a chance for students and adults to engage in public service. Locations are areas that Howard EcoWorks has partnered with and identified a critical need for clean up. This is a great opportunity to gain volunteer hours, experience with environmental stewardship, and help your local community. 

Activities at this location, Jim Duke's Green Farmacy Garden, include planting bare root trees around the property. This is a unique opportunity for the public to volunteer at this historic location, the home of the late author and botanist, Jim Duke.
